Because many products sold through Modern Living Guide are custom-made through print-on-demand production, our return and refund policies differ from those of traditional retail stores.

Each item is produced specifically for the customer after an order is placed.

Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Made-to-Order Products

Many products offered through Modern Living Guide are produced on demand and made specifically for each customer.

Because products are custom-made, we generally cannot accept returns or exchanges unless:

  • The product arrives damaged
  • The product contains a manufacturing defect
  • The product contains a printing or production error
  • The wrong product was received

Custom-made products are not eligible for return solely because a customer changes their mind after purchase.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive:

  • A damaged product
  • A defective product
  • An item with a manufacturing or printing error
  • The wrong item

Please contact us within 30 days of delivery.

To help us review your claim, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the problem
  • Any additional information requested to assist the review process

Claims submitted without sufficient information may require additional review.

Resolution Options

Order Changes and Cancellations

Because production often begins shortly after an order is placed, order changes, modifications, or cancellations cannot be guaranteed.

If you need to make a change to an order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it.

Once production has started, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

Buyer’s Remorse and Non-Returnable Items

As products are custom-made to order, we generally do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Incorrect size selection
  • Incorrect color selection
  • Ordering mistakes made by the customer
  • Preference-based decisions after delivery
  • Products that meet the specifications shown at the time of purchase

Customers are encouraged to carefully review product descriptions, sizing information, and order details before completing a purchase.

Incorrect Addresses and Undeliverable Packages

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information during checkout.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer, additional shipping charges may be required before the order can be reshipped.

Unclaimed Packages

Packages returned to a fulfillment facility because they were not claimed, accepted, or collected by the customer may require additional shipping charges before reshipment can occur.

Lost Packages

If a shipment is confirmed lost in transit, we will work with our fulfillment and shipping partners to investigate the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.

Lost package claims may be subject to carrier investigations and verification procedures.
